It has come to my attention that I need a support system in my life, the roots of my tree, so to speak.

People who can help me in the eternal struggle that is my life. Friends I can vent or otherwise talk to without fear of alienation or disappointment, being judged, sounding like a certified freak or otherwise being a burden. Allies I can count on to have my back when I need to take steps to change my life (and holding me accountable for those steps). People I can trust in my circle.

A tall order, I know, but I need to move forward in my life. Life is hard enough as it is, and adding mental illness on top of that makes it even harder. And honestly, it is NOT something I can do on my own.

Yeah, that's in capital letters, because I have tried and consistently failed, as some of you are aware.

So, there you have it. If that is you, please contact me. All I ask is that you have an open mind, a lot of patience, and that you avoid the "tough love" approach.

i have the same problem. i tried living in a group home but i got kicked out for something i did that was really stupid. now my parents are trying to find me a condo and a permanent caregiver. it's scary. i'd say get the help of an organization that sets up caregivers and see if they can help pay for it.
